Promotional film for the University of Geneva

This film was commissioned by the University of Geneva to promote the department of medieval languages and literature. The story features Christine de Pizan, the first French woman of letters to live through her use of language. Set in the 14th century, the historical reconstruction led us to film at Chillon Castle. Two temporalities, medieval and contemporary, intertwine around the manuscript, which is the object of study at the University of Geneva.

Film commandité par l’Université de Genève afin de promouvoir la section des langues et littératures médiévales; l’histoire met en scène Christine de Pizan, première femme de lettres française ayant vécu de sa plume. Située au XIVe siècle, la reconstitution historique nous a amené à tourner au Château de Chillon. Une temporalité médiévale et une temporalité contemporaine s’entremêlent autour du manuscrit, objet d’étude de l’Université de Genève.
